Paradox Store Policies & Returns

General Terms & Disclaimers

Material Variation

Graphic materials are inherently random. Specific patterns, grain placement, or visual features cannot be guaranteed and cannot be positioned upon request.

Due to material variability, lighting conditions, and differences in screen displays, the pickguard you receive may vary slightly in pattern or color from product images.

All trademarks, service marks, and trade names referenced remain the property of their respective owners.

Fitment (Critical)

Pickguards are not interchangeable.

Instruments that appear similar may use different pickguard shapes, routing, or screw hole patterns. Variations can occur within the same make and model, including differences by year, sub-model, series, or country of origin.

Before ordering, you must verify that your instrument’s make, model, sub-model, series, year, and country of origin match the product listing exactly.

Orders placed without confirmed compatibility are not eligible for fitment-related returns.

Returns

Returned items must be in original, unused, as-shipped condition, with all packaging intact and no signs of installation or use.

The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs unless the item was received not as described.

Refunds

Approved returns will be refunded to the original payment method minus shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee.

Special Conditions

Protective Mask / Film (No Exceptions)

All pickguards ship with a protective masking or film (clear, blue, or brown).

Do not remove the protective masking until fitment has been fully confirmed.

Once the protective masking is removed, the pickguard is non-returnable and non-refundable, regardless of fitment.

Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Custom Modifications [NR*]

Custom options marked [NR*] are final sale.

Any pickguard ordered with one or more [NR*] modifications is non-returnable and non-refundable, with no exceptions, except in the case of a production or shipping error by Paradox.

After-the-Fact Support & Manufacturing Errors

If your pickguard does not fit as expected, contact us with:

  • Clear photos of the pickguard and instrument

  • The year, make, and model of the instrument

We will review the issue and determine the appropriate resolution. All Paradox pickguards are manufactured using OEM-based reference data.

Due to manufacturing tolerances, minor adjustment may be required, particularly on older or lower-cost instruments. A variance of approximately 1 mm is considered acceptable.
